REHEARSING is the best part of it

Yesterday we spend all afternoon rehearsing for our tonight's show "Ex and Hopp"!!!
We had soo much fun, I couldn't believe it. And I am so grateful to have found expressive and real nice people, that are free and willing to perform with all of their heart.
It's going to be so much fun, so if you're free and wanna enjoy some music, performance, hearts and colours along the wonderful urban area of the "Donaukanal", then pass by!

Gestern haben wir den ganzen Nachmittag damit verbracht, für die heute "Ex und Hopp" Show zu proben. Wir hatten unglaublich viel Spass und ich bin extrem dankbar, dass wir so viele expressive und wirklich nette Leute gefunden haben, die von ganzem Herzen frei und willig performen.
Es wird lustig werden, wenn Ihr also Musik, Performance, Herzen und Farben mögt, dann kommt zum wunderbar-urbanen Areal am Donaukanal!

Pebelle behauptet sich im Modezirkus und tritt als Dompteurin ihrer einzigartigen selbst entwickelten Färbetechnik auf.
Es scheint als ob sie ihre Kreationen direkt auf den Körper der Trägerin "schnalzt" und "projiziert".
Jedes Teil individuell, handgefärbt und ein Einzelstück.
Gemeinsam mit Pebelle inszeniert silo mit einem Haufen von Individualisten eine einzigartige Live Performance
die es in dieser Formation nur an diesen Samstag auf der Hauptbühne zu sehen gibt.

Pebelle came to play a part in the fashion circus and enters the stage as tamer of her own, unique and self-developed dyeing technique. It seems as if she "projects" and "flicks" her creations onto the carrier's body. Ever piece is individual, dyed by hand and a unique item.
Along with Silo Pebelle will put a scenerie on stage to show you a unique live performance with a bunch of indidualists, that will only come together on this one occation and in this form. At the Main stage!

Enough reason to delcare the big room of BRUT to be a playground for all hard-assed dance optimists out there, especially after last November's success!! Be there!

A DJ_Mènage-á-trois, containing J'aime Julien, Hetzbube and Dornrose, defies the boring accoustic stir fry in this unbelievably naughty night- out of an old habit and with great, surprising and multi-facetted pop electro tunes.

Grund genug, nach dem fulminanten Erfolg im letzten November den großen Saal bei einem zweiten BIG Issue erneut zur Spielwiese für alle hartgesottenen TanzoptimistInnen zu erklären.

Die DJ-Ménage-à-trois J’aime Julien, Hertzbube und Dornrose trotzt in dieser großunartigen Nacht gewohnt gekonnt dem musikalischen Einheitsbrei mit überraschend vielseitiger POP-ELEKTRO-TANZ-MUSIK.

define: love

Since 3 years Vienna hosts an art event called "Wohnzimmerbiennale" or livingroom biennale- an art festival hosted in a private flat. For one day the flat is turned into a temorary offspace, a public place open for everyone to attend.

The masterminds Kasra, Jakob, Alex and Veronika describe the main idea as "nomadic"- the exhibitions move from one living room to another. The element is participatory: everyone is welcome to exhibit. The selection varies from photography, painting, performance, readings, sculpture, live-acts.......



This year I entered in an artist collective with a project called "define: love", my partner in crime was Florian, head of "J'aime Julien", Dj and sound designer par excellence.

The idea was to create an interactive sculpture that explains the omnipresent existence of love with using texile-acoustic elements.
It can be our engine but also slow us down. It's the foundation that enables various actions and empowers our energy, but in it's downside it represses every development.
Love stands for animation and stagnancy.

The figure we created carries the meaning for this facettes, embodied by a mannequin. Personal photographs were manipulated with various techniques, such as embroiding, sewing, burning and cutting and then built together to a snap-shot textile.

The dress permitts a gaze into the emotional world of it's carrier, covers her but, in the next minute, exposes her as much as anyone can be. Her head is cloaked, so she's forced to focus on an inside view- her eyes are hidden to the observer.

She carries a note book in her hand, everyone attenting her is allowed to write down their associations on the topic of love. Within the day of the exhibit a re-collection of perpectives arises.

The sound collage quotes various adaptions of love from film and pop music and layers them up with the sound of Pebelle's sewing machine. We consiously picked contrary samples, so the audience can individually rate and connect it with the impressions they get from looking at the sculpture at the same time.
